I’ve been playing around with drones for a few years now. All I can say is Ruko is a very competitive brand with not only their pricing, but more importantly their product. I was almost upset when the outer packaging was damaged while being shipped, but after opening everything up, the manufacturer’s packaging is so good, that neither the drone, nor the very nice carrying case had any damage to them.
First and foremost, get the app on the phone, once you do, everything becomes very easy. As to the drone, it is built solid. Came with 2 batteries that hold a charge for a decent amount of time. The drone is very easy to control and direct. I’ve tested it out even in moderate wind, and this thing hold its own. Trust me, if you want something more than a kiddie toy of a drone, this is the way to go. I let my 6 year old fly it, and he had no problems handling it. The features are a completely added bonus. The camera on this takes very decent pictures (see samples). Overall, definitely worth the money. Ive looked at all different types of options, and very happy that I ended up with this brand. Thank you Ruko for making a great product.

I wish it had a little better instructional information that was easier for beginners to understand. However, once the instructions are mastered and the thing comes alive…you will forget about that and realize the beauty of owning this drone, especially if it is your first!
Update: The customer support sent even better and more clear instructions than were originally found in the box. Now, more than ever, this drone IS tops for beginners. Customer support is genuine in their efforts to help their clients.

Android support is horrible, the app crashes constantly. At one point, the app crashed, then would not reconnect, and the drone was stuck in the air for 15 minites until the battery died and it finally landed. Picture Quality is not great at all. I wanted something cheap and easy to get some arial shots to track our new garden areas growth, but the pictures are very blurry. I’m returning and upgrading after one day of use.

I think that, given more time with the drone and procedures involved, I will come to enjoy it more. The instructions are very poorly written (ESL) and the, “pre-flight” procedures seem a little complicated and convoluted. Having fun wasn’t always this much work.
Having had the drone for a while and working with it more, I have updated my rating from two stars to five. The main reason for the change is the fantastic customer service I have received from Ruko. They have gone way beyond what could be reasonably expected to see that I’m happy with my purchase. I cannot say enough good about them. If you have a problem, they will work tirelessly to resolve your issue.

It has great features like follow me, 360 circle, return to home, and geo fencing for beginners. Decent video and camera 720p but no stabilizer. Battery is about 18 minutes with a low power warning. Comes in a nice case with two batters, extra rotor blades, and two charging cables. Doesn’t come with micro SD (32mb max) or helipad. I got mines for $150 and I’m happy with it so far. It’s a great starter drone! It’s compact for traveling and has plenty of range to get that overhead photo shot and video clip when you vacation or go camping (recreational user only). Make sure you register it and get the B4UFLY and AirMap app to check drone air space in your area. Also, take the short class online to familiarize yourself with Federal & local regulations. There are FAA penalties so fly smart and be safe!

This drone performed great! The camera is a big improvement from the Ruko F11, 4K, great stills and live videos, this is my second Ruko drone, I liked the first one and I’m loving this one.
The setup is easy, easy to follow instructions, u-tube videos ect. The drone is very responsive, and the BACK TO HOME feature is great, comes back within a foot of takeoff zone. The follow me feature looks neat.
This drone isn’t a toy, it will get on out there and fly, this is NOT a toy drone, I’ve had two of those.
I flew my Ruko drone a quarter mile from me, as far as I could see it, pushed the back to home and here it came right back to the landing zone, within a foot of takeoff. The rechargeable battery gave me plenty of flight time, and there are two batteries, the controller is rechargeable too.
If you think you’d like a drone, like me, this one is affordable. I am very pleased.

This is my first drone purchase and I was honestly very nervous to invest in such a nice drone. I never thought I would be so impressed with the many features this little guy has to offer. The size is extremely compact, the remote is simple and easy to use which for a beginner was a HUGE plus. I’ve been practicing with it every day. It takes phenomenal pictures and videos that can be really striking.

Fun little drone. I am impressed with quality and packaging. Inside you get very sturdy travel case with extra blades charger battery and phone stand for the remote. The drone is build solid. Easy to unfold and set to fly. Definitely recommend the app. Makes it so much easier to fly. Calibrating the drone with the phone is very simple. Just follow the instruction on the app. Taking off with the pre set button is very easy. Controlling the drone is very simple. Drone is actually very stable even in windy day. It takes good pictures but you need SD card (not included) to save them on the drone. It does save pictures and video on the phone trough the app but with lower quality. Flying time is little over 20 min for each battery and then you get low battery warning. After the warning you have enough time to land the drone. Follow me option works great when walking or running. Landing is simple with just press of a button. Overall great drone and very easy to control.
