Description
2013: The Year of Marc Marquez. The Spanish rookie is certainly no stranger to the world of motorcycle racing having twice been a world champion. Big things were expected of him but no-one anticipated just what he d achieve in his first year in motorcycle racing s premier class. Jorge Lorenzo and Dani Pedrosa were as impressive as always in pre-season testing and Britain s Cal Crutchlow was showing promise on the Tech3 Monster Energy Yamaha. Stefan Bradl had people talking about his performances on the LCR Honda and Gresini s Alvaro Bautista had found a good run of form. Big news ahead of the season was the return of The Doctor, Valentino Rossi, to the Yamaha fold could he end his two year winning drought? Andrea Dovisioso moved to Ducati to partner Nicky Hayden meaning there was a mouth watering, and super-competitive season in prospect. Great video! I simply can’t understand some of the reviewer’s negative opinions about the commentary being bland and unexciting. It is a review of last season not a live commentary of an event as it happens! I think the commentary is absolutely spot on in every respect, certainly not like a couple of blokes discussing it in a pub, and I cannot find anything wrong with it. A great review of a great MotoGP season.

I actually bought this for my older brother rather than myself. I did try to purchase it as a Christmas present for him but despatch was delayed for an unacceptable period. Happily it was possible to acquire it without any problems for his birthday in early March. He was delighted by it and was profuse in his thanks.

No, I didn’t really like this – but my husband certainly does! At least it means he can rewatch the events from 2013 whenever he wants (as long as it doesn’t interfere with what I want to watch, too!)

2013 was a great season and 2014 was even better. Would really like a collection of full-length races, rather than these edited versions, but I guess I can get that at MotoGP.com for $200 per year.
