After a year of flying a Phantom 3, I decided to upgrade. This drone is miles beyond the Phantom 3 series.
The camera is on another level completely. Takes fantastic video and photos.
Love it!

These guys are the best to deal with. Everything was perfect. No surprises.

I purchased a Phantom 4 Pro. I received a Phantom 4 Pro+. I was pleasantly surprised with the free upgrade. I didn’t think it was a mistake because I worked for a mail order company years ago that sold computers (among other things). We routinely shipped out computers that were better equipped than what the customer ordered. No one ever complains about getting more than they paid for. But, I started having issues with the remote controller not turning on almost immediately. But, then I’d plug it into the charger for a while and it would work. It was an intermittent problem and it became obvious it wasn’t due to a lack of charging. Eventually it stopped turning on completely. I was first told, by Camrise (DJI) to send them the serial number of my remote controller and they would send me a new controller and I could send the defective one back once I received it. So, I sent them the serial number. Then I was told I would need to send in the remote controller and they would send out a replacement as soon as they received it. They sent me a “ground” shipping label to return it. So, it took about a week for them to receive it. Once they received the controller I was told that I needed to send back the drone as well, and I was sent another “ground” shipping label. I protested because there was nothing wrong with my drone. The problem was only with the remote not turning on. I even appealed to Amazon, to no avail. I had to ship the drone back. It took about another week and they received the drone on a Thursday. I emailed them every day after inquiring about them shipping out my replacement. They were puzzled as to why I shipped them a Phantom 4 Pro + when I had purchased a Phantom 4 Pro. I said I shipped you back the drone that was shipped to me. I was told there would have to be an investigation into how this happened. In the mean time, I’m waiting to get a drone. I paid for it and bought accessaries for it. I’m out a lot of money with nothing to show for it. Then I’m told they’re just going to refund my money (for the drone, the $200 in accessories were purchased from a different seller) and I could repurchase the drone. I purchase the drone during the Black Friday/Cyber Monday deals and the price I paid was not available any more. I pleaded with them to just send me a drone. Whether it’s a Pro or Pro+ I don’t care. Just send me a drone. So, they finally agreed to send me out a Phantom 4 Pro. Again they shipped it ground. So, we’re talking another 5 business days. And it took them 5 days after they received the one I sent back before they finally shipped my replacement. It was one of the most frustrating experiences of my life. And I’m an older guy. So, I’ve received the replacement and I’ve been using it for over a week. It seems to be working fine so far. I’m still very concerned though. There are so many complaints about problems with these remote controllers on Youtube that someone mentioned a class action law suit. So, buyer beware. DJI controls such a large part of the drone market that I just don’t think they feel a need to take care of their customers. You’re just 1 small insignificant person to this large corporation.
Update: I’ve had my replacement drone for probably around 10 months now. I haven’t had any issues. I upgraded my original 2 star rating to 3 stars based on this.

This is incredible. DJI has really outdone themselves. With the mild winter I have had a good amount of time to fly, and this UAS is amazing. I went with the non-plus version as I have heard of display connection issues, as well as wanting to use a larger screen (ipad mini). I’m glad I did. I’ll not write too much, as this has been reviewed to death, but I will just say that it is everything you’ve heard that it is. Easier to fly, more stable, more intelligent, faster, safer, more fun. the one thing i can’t over emphasize is that the camera is the best out there for the money right now. without jumping up to the inspire x5, you just can’t do better in the mass market. As a photographer, the ability to control your camera, and to have a mechanical shutter is invaluable.
If you’ve got the cash and are willing to fly within the laws, then you should own this UAS

Excelente producto, fácil de manejar no es necesario ser un experto para tener buenos resultados en fotografías y vídeos .

I purchased 2 spare batteries with my Phantom 4 Pro, as well as the “intelligent charging system.” The charging system destroyed both spares. I would consider it “destroy” mode instead of storage mode.
As other reviewers Michael D. Brown, Bruce D, AW, Mattleo86, Clay Collins, John Krikorian, E money, Kris Townsend, WindRiver Living, and “Amazon Customer” have noted on reviews of the DJI Phantom 4 Intelligent Battery Charging Hub, White (6958265112836), storage mode should not be trusted.
The 2 batteries I put on the intelligent charger and followed instructions with the charger to discharge and recharge every few months are now dead and cannot be recharged.
The one I had left in the drone in my backpack is the only one that still works. Let me repeat that- the only 1 of the 3 batteries I have that still works, is the one I did NOT actually store and maintain properly. The 2 of 3 I took extra caution to maintain were destroyed by following the instructions.
Apparently, DJI hasn’t yet figured out how to build reliable batteries or chargers. If you want your batteries to last, it seems like not using their charger is your best bet. Worst customer service experience I’ve ever had on a premium product like this. I will be selling my phantom 4 pro and boycotting DJI.

Crashed on 2nd Flight – This is my 2nd Phantom 4 Pro and both crashed for no reason at all they just fall from the Sky and both times only about 300 feet from were they took off – Just drop and hit the ground and break . Wont buy another on ever that is over $2000 for about 5 flights total with 2 of these – Neither was my fault didn’t crash they just fall right in front of me .

I have flown my Phantom 4 for many successful flights, except for its last one, which resulted in a crash on a rugged cliff, not accessible for recovery. The P4 does not have rear collision avoidance, so of course it was pilot error. I bought the P4 PRO version because of its improved collision avoidance features. It failed to ‘connect’ with the controller OR USB port on the aircraft. Contacted DJI tech support and did all that they recommend to get it to work. It still did NOT. The original price tag, creatively covered stated $1,495, nearly $ 800 less than I paid. Maybe a previous return? Thanks to Amazon they allowed me to return it, and I got my money back for the purchase and a small amount for the return shipping cost which amounted to over $100 USD, since I live in Mexico. Waiting for the rumored P5. The P4’s have been out of production for a while so have a lot of shelf life already expended.

They are the best (DJI)

Phantom 4 pro lost GPS in pmode with a lot of satellites and then proceeded to go into atti mode and fly backwards while ignoring user input. The drone flew full speed into a pole. Instead of honoring their warranty DJI has done nothing but given me the run-around. Amazon doesn’t care that their merchant sold a product and the manufacturer isn’t upholding their warranty. Do not buy a DJI product and do not buy an expensive electronic off of Amazon.
