My husband’s birthday wish was to get a drone that had a camera and could hook up to his phone. To his surprise, that’s exactly what he got. Not only was he thrilled to get his first drone but was also quite impressed with the quality of the deerc mini drone for such an unbeatable price. Let’s be honest, they’re quite expensive and hard to find good quality in cheap prices. But to our amazement this little thing is worth the price. It even came with protectors for the propellers plus an extra set of propellers in case anything happens. He read the entire manual which was simple and not made difficult to understand and it’s already assembled when you get it. Also has two 10 minute batteries, giving you 20 minutes of fun!! He’s only a beginner but he’s definitely in love and said once he’s ready to upgrade he’ll be looking for another deerc’s model. It took me some serious comparisons before i picked which one to buy but looks like i chose the perfect one! It says for kids but if you’re a beginner adult. This is for you also.!!

Though this this is a nice looking drone it’s not for young ones. It was even hard for my husband to control but I can tell it is a nice piece if you get around learning how to control it. Not sure about the quality as one of the control buttons broke and we didn’t drop it or anything. Also a light piece broke or got pushed in when drone came back down. I may return but not sure as it still works.

So I usually fly a Magic Air or HS170 which are more sophisticated and therefore much more expensive drones. They both have GPS and a host of other features. When I first charged the batteries and popped one into the drone, I was able to fly it immediately and, given its small size, it was surprisingly unaffected by the trade wind breezes. I buzzed just above our dog and had so much fun letting him chase it all over the yard. But trying to set the trim and get it to hover was a bit frustrating. I fixated on trying to get it to hover motionless for en entire battery cycle (maybe 8-10 minutes) and basically got it where I wanted it. Why I bothered with that, I don’t really know. Because the joy of this drone is just flying around. My wife and I laughed and gasped as we got too close to a tree and watched I tumble to the ground. Picked it up, turned it back on, and it was back in the air within seconds. All the money we spent on the other drones and this one made us smile more! The price point is low enough that that you don’t have worry about crashing. But if (when) you do, this thing is tough enough to shake it off and get right back I the air. Get one of these – you won’t be sorry!

OMG, I purchased this for my son 11th bday yesterday, we literally just took it out to the front yard and almost hit the neighbors car we had to hit the stop button for it to just release from the air. So then we took it to the back, he tried it again and so did I, next thing you know the thing wen’t so far in the sky on it’s own and went straight into the damn woods and we can’t even find it. ABSOLUTELY NOT!! I need a refund! I did not pay for a drone that wants to do what it wants to do. Then my dag on son ran in the house crying because he just got it for his birthday. I’m going to need a refund asap!. I’m so pissed. The plastic is cheap , the thing goes where it want’s DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY! I very rarely write reviews, I can count on one hand how many I ever wrote, but I tell you I’m so damn mad I had to come on here and write this review.

Wow, fire hazard!!!! Do not buy!!!!! See my video, I had my 8 year old unpack it and then ended up his hand got a small burn after the whole system heated up when the battery went in.. defecting defective defective…

As an avid drone user, I very much enjoy testing out new drones. This did not disappoint. For the very cheap price tag, the product was very comparable to much higher end drones. Certainly very easy to control as a more experienced pilot, so I have no doubt it will be a surmountable feat for a beginner. The app and connection process was quite hassle free, and I was impressed by the many options available! I can also attest to it’s durability when it comes to shock absorbable, as I may have made a few mistakes while piloting. Solid product, 5 stars.

This drone is a pretty easy setup and fun! The app was very nice and user friendly. It is quick and has some nice features, including a very nice camera especially for the price. I really enjoyed the maneuverability of the drone and really liked the flip feature. very cool.
One issue that i had was… The trim took me a bit to figure out since i have not had the chance to fly a drone that required this yet. The only reason why i say it was an issue is because even after i think i got it, it seamed to do its own thing here and there but i cant be sure it wasn’t mostly the wind (small drone may not handle this well).
There are a few things that i have yet to play with but overall i would definitely recommend this drone to anyone!!!
