Drone Cameras
Camera drones are devices that use UAV (unmanned aerial vehicle) technology to transport cameras to take pictures or video. They are most well-known for their usage among the sports and entertainment industries and the military. Camera drones are available in many shapes and sizes, capable of everything from filming holovids to covert surveillance.
Early camera drones were bulky objects that were fitted with engines and had poor reaction times. Miniature and Micro UAVs are now available ranging from “micro aerial vehicles (MAVs)” and miniature UAVs that can be carried by a child to UAVs that can be carried and launched like an infantry man-portable air-defense system.
Miniaturized camera drones have come into wide use among the entertainment industry. The most popular architecture for filming motorsports is the “Quadcopter”.
