Coverage of all the top riders plus Up and coming youngsters – Dunlop dominates the podium however some individual triumphs from Anstey and others compliment the DVD.

I have several of these from the recent past races. For some reason this year is more talk and not as much action as before. The bikes really impress and the riders are fearless. But this time the shots change too quickly and jump around. And then there is the background talk, talk, talk. Some color is nice, but this year was way too much. Still, it is the ultimate street race.

This year was a great week for racing but awful for practice as the weather wasn’t very kind for practice. The racing is as tight as usual unfortunately Mc Guiness was still suffering from an injury so wasn’t really in the running. Gary Johnson has a blistering ride on the 675 Smiths Triumph. The three cylinder Triumph sounding glorious. There are the usual mechanical failures crashes and worse. The Blu Ray is beautifully colourful and full of Hi Def wonder. The only extra is an on board lap with Mc Guiness on the Mugen Electric bike which is a breathtaking 117 mph lap. Well worth your hard earned cash. The greatest show on Earth!

Isle of Man. While I’d rather be there in person and reality is great, this Blu-ray is even better. One sees far more than they would in person and you get to ride along with the TT racers, which you could never do in person. The on-board camera work feels exactly like you are on the bike, except you get a bit dizzy watching it on a big screen. The aerial shots are also very revealing and you can see the obstacles faced by the riders. I highly recommend this Blu-ray to others and I’d buy it again in an instant. While some may criticize the narration, I really appreciate hearing what the experts are seeing during the events.
