This movie was a good movie for 1977. And it’s still a good movie for 2016. I read the reviews before I purchased. Glad I didn’t listen re some not so good reviews. A good All-Star cast and good entertainment. Going down memory lane was great. Glad it’s a part of my DVD collection now. Buy the movie. The kids will love it.

I bought this for my 13 year old son who is into Evel Knievel. I actually saw this film back in 70’s in the theater. It’s a campy action/Adventure movie with knievel playing himself. The only problem with this movie is Evel can’t act! But the supporting cast has some great names (Red Buttons, Gene Kelly) The reason to watch this is for two things, The motorcycle sequences(New and old footage) And seeing Leslie Neilsen (From “Airplane) Playing a dramatic role of a bad guy, which nowadays you cannot take seriously, (I was waiting for him to say “Don’t call me Shirley!”) But for the preteens this isn’t bad. It’s fun popcorn movie for a Saturday night with the kids.

Well this movie feels like a way too long episode of Charlie’s Angels, but I love it anyway. It’s a pretty terrible movie, with lots of stock footage, but it brings back memories of the drive-in when all kids worshiped Knievel and had red white and blue bikes with fake gas tanks. If you like bad movies, this one is a land mark. Gene Kelly as a drunk mechanic? I’m there dude.
